The overall purpose of this blog is to provide insight and help with Agile and Scrum -- with the occasional software tidbit thrown in for good measure.
Don was introduced to Agile concepts through Kent Beck's paradigm-shifting little book eXtreme Programming Explained: Embrace Change in 2001. The environment Don worked in at the time was not ready for those notions, but he kept up with the Agile movement as an educational effort from that time forward.
In 2009, Don was introduced to Scrum and was encouraged, along with others, to begin implementing the Scrum framework. In December 2009, Don received his Certified ScrumMaster certification and four years later earned his Certified Scrum Professional certificate. Don has fielded several Scrum teams and continues to evangelize Agile concepts wherever he goes.
